Requirements for Research Paper with Contemporary Issue and Personal Reflection
1.)10 pages of text.
2.) The research portion of your paper should be at least 5 pages and include a minimum of 5 scholarly sources and one primary source for the historical period. There is no maximum on the total number of sources you use
3.) The contemporary issue should be at least 3-4 pages and use at least 3 sources (these will be popular sources like newspapers and reliable websites) and the personal connection should be 1-2 pages.

5.) CITE YOUR SOURCES WITH IN-TEXT CITATIONS! Every piece of information must be cited, except intro, conclusion and your interpretation of primary documents. I do not give you credit for information that is not cited.
6.) When you are done writing your arguments, write an introduction that includes a working thesis and a summary of your arguments. You do not need to include a conclusion in this draft.
7.) Number the pages of your paper—this is essential!
