• It must be a legitimate issue or problem which you describe clearly

• You must argue persuasively for a change in the organization’s policy and clearly state the outcome or change that you desire

• Your letter must demonstrate a keen understanding of the art of persuasion using any combination of appeals to reason (inductive and deductive), emotion and character/ethics
