According to the United States Census, the population in the United States is growing more and more diverse with each decade. While an increase in diversity adds a wonderful richness to society, it also adds challenges to serving the needs of the community effectively. For this assignment, you will analyze and explore, using reputable cited research, gender and how it adds to these challenges.

How do a woman’s personal experiences influence how she approaches her job in the workplace? Are women professionals treated differently than men because of these experiences?
Have women working in a male-dominated field of criminal justice changed the complexion and complexity of the field? If so, how?
Is this influence beneficial to the overall mission and goals of criminal justice agencies? If so, how?
