This module’s readings covered negotiations and relationship building in emerging markets as well as assessing risks and opportunities in emerging Economies. An emerging market has both similarities and differences that need to be addressed when it comes to building relationships and participating in negotiations. Both sides of the negotiation process need to be aware of certain cultural traits that pertain to the overall negotiation strategy, the emotional aspects of the negotiation process, the decision making process, and the contractual and administrative factors affecting the negotiation process.
