Objective: This essay will afford you an opportunity to identify and analyze ethical issues in global business.
Introduction: Ethics define many decisions a business makes, whether operating domestically or globally. In the context of global ethics, it is imperative that managers understand the culture and ethical expectations of countries in which they do business. In order to comply with the ethical standards of both the home country and other countries in which commerce is conducted, businesses must make decisions bounded by law and ethical conduct.
Deliverables: The essay for this lesson is required to be 750 words that clearly demonstrate your understanding of the topic. Essays should have a clear introduction, thesis statement and conclusion, written in APA format (APAstyle.org). A minimum of three sources must be cited in-text and in the Reference list.

Step 1: Read the following questions and use what you have learned about this lesson’s objective to summarize your responses.

-Describe how culture intertwines with ethics in a global environment. Provide examples.
-What formal documents do businesses use to create an ethical environment within the organization? Briefly describe the components and purposes of these tools.
-What influence do ethical issues of another country play in decision-making and what ethical standards should apply in the decision? That of the home country? The foreign country? Both? Explain.
-If a global business is faced with a situation involving potential violations of ethical conduct, what must the business do in its decision-making process? Address each of the elements of ethical decision-making.
