Governmental agencies influence the development of public health policy as they set forth the standards for providing quality healthcare treatment and prevention, as well as upholding public health laws. Both of these methods work in together because the care that’s rendered is aiding people to live healthy while public law ensures that all individuals are treated with the best care.
The National Institute of Health and the Center for Disease Control equally works effortless to protect and safeguard the health of the public. The NIH is the primary Federal agency for conducting and supporting medical research. They help lead the way toward important medical discoveries that improve people’s health and lives. The CDC promotes health and quality of life by preventing and controlling disease, injury and disability. Each agency uphold their integrity by using credible evidence and data to support the decision regarding the development of public health policies in the US. Both agencies employee highly qualified people who are considered a specialist in their fields of experience and this is a contributing factor to the agency’s influence.
