Assume that you have control over three potential uses for your corn crop which include:

Ethanol production
Livestock feed
Corn syrup

1. Which of the above uses would you choose for your corn?  Provide at least 2 reasons to justify your choice.
2. Provide at least one reason for not choosing either of the other alternatives.
3. If given the choice, would you use groundwater or treated wastewater for irrigation and provide support for your choice.
4. What form of pest control would you use and provide justification for your choice.  You could use either synthetic pesticides to increase crop yield or some non-synthetic alternative pest control method(s) that might not give the same crop yield (Refer to pages 303-308 in your textbook). 
Comment on at least ONE other fellow students’ main posts. In your response to fellow students, provide at least one substantive response, no short answer like, “I agree”, and support your response with details. The response should be phrased so that it could lead to further discussion.
