Assignment #4 politic

INSTRUCTIONS: For all your Reflection Assignments, you will need to show an understanding of the material presented on Canvas and I will be looking for your own analysis.  Your analysis should show some critical thinking and you should make sure to fully explain your responses.  Please answer ALL of the following questions and answer ALL parts of each question.
1.) What was the central debate between the Federalists and the Anti-Federalists? Explain why the Anti-Federalists were big proponents and advocates for the Bill of Rights, and how does the Bill of Rights reflect the ideas and priorities of the Anti-Federalists?
2.) The 4th Amendment is very important and has led to considerable debate.  Based on the material presented, what do you see as the central debates regarding the wording of the 4th amendment, and what did you learn from the video that was embedded in that page of the module?  Specifically, what did you learn about the searches and seizures and the limitations to them?
3.) One of the debates regarding the 8th amendment is what qualifies as “cruel and unusual” punishment.  Some have argued that our prison/incarceration system might count as cruel and unusual and some have also argued that the usage of the death penalty in our country could be labeled as cruel and unusual.  In the module page for the 8th amendment, you were presented with a video that discussed some of the debates regarding this amendment.  The video discussed Supreme Court Justice William Brennan’s 4 guiding principles for determining whether a form of punishment is cruel and unusual. Using those criteria, do you believe that our prison system or the death penalty might qualify as being a cruel and unusual form of punishment?  Explain your answer citing those criteria from the video in your response.
You do not need to write this is an essay-style format.  You can simply number each response #1-3.
