Introduction
This is the next step in your research project and is building off of the week one assignment. You have already chosen a research topic and have done a preliminary literature review. Now it is time to move on to the survey. For this assignment you will be creating a survey that you will be using to gather data on your research topic.
Please note: You will be using the same topic as in week one
Activity Instructions
In this week’s discussion, you posted your survey questions and got feedback. You should use this feedback as you create your survey. Also, make sure you carefully read over all the dos and don’ts from your textbook about how to put together a good survey.
For your survey there needs to be a minimum of ten questions related to your research topic as well as questions related to demographic information. There also needs to be an introduction paragraph about what you are researching, what the data will be used for, and how you will be protecting the participant’s confidentiality. As part of informed consent you need to make it clear to the participant what the study is about and that participation is voluntary. You should look over the Tips on linked above and/or review page 57 in your textbook.
Finally, on a separate sheet, you should include an explanation as to why you chose the questions you did and how it relates to your research topic. You will need to cite your sources as part of your explanation. This should be one or two pages in length.
